How to change the COM Port number in Windows?

Hi all.. When we insert a Pen drive or Modem, there will be a port associated with the each device in the Device Manager in the Windows Operating System. Some times we may want to change the COM Port of a particular device for some purpose.

So here is the procedure to change the COM Port of a particular device in the Windows XP based systems.

• Insert the device to the usb port. After successfully inserting the device open the properties dialog by right clicking on the My Computer, then click on Hardware tab, then click Device Manager and then Ports (COM & LPT).

In the earlier post we have seen the manual GPRS settings for the mobile phones, now in this post i'm posting how to get these Internet/ GPRS settings automatically by sending a sms

Airtel:

• To get GPRS settings send a message as

            MO to 543210 (Toll free) 
                      (or)
             Click here and enter your mobile number, you will get settings by sms

• To get Airtel Live settings send sms as

            LIVE to 543210 (Toll free)

• To activate 3G send sms as

           3G to 121 (Toll free)

Aircel:

• To get GPRS settings send sms as

           PI to 121 (tollfree)

How to mount ISO image (ISO13346 or UDF, ISO9660) in Ubuntu

ISO image is an archieve file also known as disk image of optical disk. These images are used to write optical discs. Most of the bootable software/OS available in image file.

There are two main file systems of ISO file, They are ISO 9660 and ISO/IEC 13346. ISO 9660 filesystem(fs) is used with CD ROM, and ISO 13346(also known as Universal Disk Format(UDF)) is used with the DVD or blueray disks.

Some times we have ISO images, we need to extract the content of the image file.Some images are in ISO 9660 file system and some images are in UDF fs. So to mount these types of images in ubuntu follow the given procedure.

For ISO 9660 file system

• Create a directory in the /media directory with myiso or any name

           #cd /media

           #mkdir myiso
